Abstract:
A computer programme is presented that carries out all the calculations necessary for a leaf casting process. If the length, width and the thickness of the object to be leafcast, the number of objects that can be treated in one run, the data for a suitable colour recipe and some other data are entered, then the programme provides all the information necessary to carry out a leafcasting process, that is, the kind and amount of fibre, suspension and water, and degree of suction. Not only is the programme described but leafcasting as such is broken down into its basic steps. This is necessary to programme the process but could also be useful in developing further leafcasting. The programme my be obtained from the author at a cost of 100 dollars, plus an empty diskette, return-addressed envelope, plus postage.
