Abstract:
Using a chemical feeder, paper can be: washed with deionized water containing added calcium ions; Washed and deacidified simultaneously; Or deacidified directly. Examples of these processes are given in which varying ratios of alkali were fed to deionized water. The resultant alkaline reserves produced in two types of papers are shown. With tables and diagrams.
